✿ FAQ
› What programs do you use to draw?
Clip Studio Paint mostly! For Pixel Art I still use Paint Tool Sai sometimes
› What canvas size do you use?
I normally draw on 5000x5000 px 300dpi and then just go from there!
› When did you start drawing?
I've always kind of doodled with friends here and there in school, but didn't took drawing seriously until I turned 14. One year later I started drawing more digitally.
› Did you take lessons in drawing or art?
Not really, only art lessons I've ever had were the regular art lessons in school. If you like drawing, create!
› How long does it take you to finish one illustration?
Depends on the complexity of the picture. It can range from up to 3 hours to multiple days basically!
› Do you take requests or draw for free?
I do not accept free requests at this time, however if you're interested in my art you can consider commissioning me instead.
› Can I repost your art?
I would prefer if you wouldn't repost my art but I allow it under the following conditions for fanart:1. My watermark is not covered or cropped off
2. A link to my sites & original artwork is EASILY found in the description
3. You will not earn profit in any way (no merchandise and no digital sales will be made)> Please do not use Commissioned work in any way, only the commissioner alone is allowed to do so.
> Please refrain from editing my pictures or claiming them as your own.
> I am not interested in NFT's so if you turn my art into NFT's you will be boiled.
> Do not use my art for Ai purposes. Pick up a pencil and make your own art instead.
✿ Terms of Service
Making Orders:
I have the right to refuse orders. Fill out the order form thoroughly and carefully. If you miss out on telling me a detail, please make sure to amend it ASAP and inform me before you send payment. It is your responsibility to provide me the details that I will need to do a successful job.
Payment:
The commission must be paid in full via PayPal before I start on the order. No eChecks. Either transfer the funds from your bank to your PayPal or use the existing balance to pay the cost of the order.
Works in progress (WIP):
After I'm done with the sketching I'll send out an WIP to you for approval. They are .png images and will be uploaded in my Sta.sh folder. This is your chance to tell me what you want changed: expressions, details, etc. Please don't be shy if something really doesn't sit well with you. I do my best to capture the character's personality but sometimes I do make mistakes, especially if it wasn't clear from the order.
Changes to final image:
I will only make changes to the final piece if it was an error on my part (i.e. I missed a detail that you had provided in the order). If it's a change you want and I did not have clear, obvious information when you ordered the art, I will not make the changes unless additional fees are paid (exact amount to be determined, depending on the scale of the change). The responsibility is on you to ensure your order contains the details you want me to follow. I will not redraw commissions unless payment is sent for a second order.
Use of my art:
Do not use my art for Ai and NFT's under any circumstances.Commissioned pieces are for private use only by the commissioner. You can use it for banners, graphics, personal prints, desktop wallpapers etc, but you cannot use it for any profit unless you talked to me beforehand to discuss a commercial license. This means my art should not appear on any product that is sold.If I find that you use it for profit, then I will not accept your commissions in the future. Commissioners are also allowed to upload the art where they wish, provided my signature is not removed and a link is provided back to my social media OR the page of the original upload. If you are reuploading my art, please upload a watermarked version if it is for public galleries.
Private commissions:
If you request the commission to be private (I cannot upload it to my gallery on dA or other sites) then the price will be 1.25x regular price. This is because I lose out on my chance to display my current skills for potential customers. Normally I own all rights to the artworks to showcase in my portfolios. You cannot use my art on any product that you sell. You also cannot upload it to your dA/Tumblr either (no public access). It is okay for you to upload watermarked versions to personal picture albums such as photobucket, weebly, toyhou.se, etc, but please credit me as 'Lanahpyon' in the title/description of the upload.
Refund policy:
The amount of money that can be returned depends on how far I have gone on the commission at the time of refund request. Please note, refunds will not return PayPal fee amounts back to you, so you may receive 3-5% less than the original amount you had sent. Percentages returned are based on the amount of money I received (meaning: amount you sent - paypal fees = amount I received; I calculate refunds from the final amount)not started: 100% of the money
sketch: 60% of the amount + sketch is sent
line art: 30% of the amount + line art is sent
completed art: no refunds
By commissioning me, it means you have read and accepted all the terms outlined above.
You will adhere to the policy of using the art for personal, non-profit purposes and provide all image credits to me, Lanahpyon
